Initial real-data seeding failed due migration68 ShellStopRequestIndex/history PeerLinks70 mismatch. Runtime initialized healthy empty database instead.
10:38 UTC: submitted real Codex agent request to run sleep300 with no file edits. Queued Original message while it ran. Opened Edit queued message and replaced composer with Updated message. Opened another local project (/home/ubuntu/wt/issue-23960) through Add project. Returned via sidebar to original running thread. Clicked Edit queued message. Browser DOM read of [role=textbox][contenteditable] returned Original message. Unsaved edit lost as reported.
Removed queued request and stopped generation through UI after attempt.
Existing matching PR23990 subsequently discovered; new regression-test task cancelled without commit. Its uncommitted test edits were discarded, no duplicate PR created.
