# Evidence capture — partial coverage, not a full matrix pass

Both actual dev-server sources were checked out/reloaded. All earlier a46/9c51/35/fc captures are superseded and excluded from this package.

Coverage: 6/8 matrix families have partial evidence (F1, F2, F4, F6, F7, F8); 0/8 meet every requirement. F3 and F5 are missing. Eight final composite reels, 56 settled stills, 28 whole-surface pairs, 28 zero-threshold amplified diff images, 28 threshold masks. This is useful command/reasoning regression evidence, not approval to merge.

## Verified observations

- Same original synthetic five-item seed copied from isolated sandbox only; no live userdata database access. Original seed not extended. Real app, normal disclosure callbacks; no DOM content or CSS mockups.
- Desktop command, both themes: pre-toggle header y=600, before expanded bottom=981.125; after header=339, bottom=720.125. Outer scroll 60 → 321 after, stays 60 before. Body height=381.125. Composer textbox y=749, enclosing visible composer top approximately 737.
- Narrow command, both themes: pre header=544; before bottom=925.125; after header=347, bottom=728.125. Outer scroll 120 → 317 after.
- Nested reasoning desktop: before top=600/bottom=1008; after top=312/bottom=720. Narrow: before top=544/bottom=952; after top=320/bottom=728.
- Corrected header clicks show open → closed. Enter opens and Space closes. aria-expanded measured after each.
- Genuine at-end command opening: desktop outer scroll 513 → 876 and atEnd remains true. Narrow corresponding atEnd measurements are in JSON. Collapse measurements are retained, including cases that leave end; no blanket assertion of collapse pinning.
- Simple completed group with both inner entries closed fits: before/after group-open stills are pixel-identical in every profile. This does not cover a long nested virtual list.
- At-end-open, the misnamed no-overflow-open, and short-viewport stills are pixel-identical across before/after in all profiles.

## Environment and capture limits

Collaborative T3 server preview, own tab, Chrome 154.0.0.0 Linux x86_64 desktop UA. DPR 2; root font 16px; default system sans; interface/prompt/code settings 16/14/13px; comfortable chat lane; sidebar/details closed. Actual CSS viewports 1440×900 and 390×844, light/dark through system appearance emulation (app followed it, dark class verified). Date constructor/Date.now frozen to 2026-10-24 12:00 UTC after app loading; timers and performance clock continue. Seed timestamps remain 10:00 AM.

IMPORTANT export limitation: saved desktop PNGs are 1280×800, downsampled by preview export; narrow PNGs are 780×1688. CSS viewport measurements are in JSON. The recordings begin before profile resize/theme setup to retain interactions: their canvas initially uses the preceding profile, then letterboxes the changed surface. ffprobe initial dimensions therefore sometimes name the preceding viewport. Black padding is recorder letterboxing, not app content. Full app surface remains visible. A fixed-canvas recording recapture would improve review quality.

Primary reels decoded fully with ffmpeg; five frames per reel opened in inspection sheets, not watched continuously. All 56 stills opened through four before/after sheets. Diff composites inspected. No spoken narration: timestamped text narration is below; no burned-in captions. These limits are material.

The composer textbox rectangle is zero when the responsive composer is collapsed; this measurement does not establish the narrow composer inset. Whole-surface stills retain the visible collapsed composer. Exact inset-bound arithmetic for narrow profiles remains unverified.

## Other visible differences

The command/reasoning pairs move surrounding conversation text and work headers with the timeline, change the amount of later content hidden by the composer, and move the Scroll to end overlay relative to content. Expanded arrows/title previews change with disclosure state. Desktop light command-pre has 1004 changed pixels at threshold zero, 903 at threshold >8: the user-message timestamp/copy action strip is visible on one side because of interaction/hover state. Desktop dark and both narrow command-pre pairs are pixel-identical. No other static surface differences were observed in inspected matched stills. Videos include differing pointer positions and click indicators and profile setup transitions.

## Missing and not proven

- F1: standalone singleton path, short output fixture, failed/nonzero command, long/wrapped command, nested icon click, inner-output scroll and older server capability.
- F2: all-reasoning outer group, several-reasoning group, explicit inner-scroll/follow; captured nested reasoning only.
- F3: full body gallery, real image/answer attachments, structured tool args/actions, empty/error result, delayed detail/media completion beyond two frames and beyond 3 seconds. Preloaded output wait is not delayed-fetch proof.
- F4: 20–40-item virtual list, failure/custom icon summary, inner position restoration/append, trailing assistant-meta.
- F5: all live streaming/status/header replacement paths and quick successive toggles.
- F6: stopped/Continued/steer and superseded-attempt folds. Normal Worked fold only.
- F7: controlled no-headroom, no-overflow-away, oversized trigger visible while toggling, unrelated disclosure, error/nonexpandable controls. The main short-viewport chapter is at end with selected entry offscreen, so does NOT discharge oversized-trigger proof.
- F8: tall draft/attachments, anchored submission, find/citation, leave/return cleanup, reduced motion, lane-width settings, actual Electron and remote smoke.
- Manual takeover: wheel and PageDown were exercised in a supplement, but first composer locator timed out. A second supplement expanded composer, confirmed active role=textbox aria-label=Message New thread, then sent PageUp/PageDown. No content arrived afterwards, so cancellation of late reveal remains UNVERIFIED. No thread-switch cancellation proof.

## FRICTION

Head changed repeatedly; final evidence was recaptured against final actual heads. Initial expanded-entry center clicks hit the body and did not collapse; those reels were discarded from final evidence, and corrected clicks target first header child. Legacy selector with a space in aria-label was rejected; locator worked. Space key must be named Space, literal whitespace is rejected. Narrow collapsed composer needs Expand composer and its accessible name is Message New thread, not exact Message. Initial pairing hash navigation while already on pair did not autofill; fresh before navigation paired automatically and selected an empty thread, requiring explicit seeded-thread route. No auth recordings uploaded.

ffmpeg full decode emits nonmonotonic DTS warnings for variable-size recorder streams; decoding completed. No source changes, push, PR, forge comment, merge, or watcher. Only owned before dev server is stopped and temporary checkout removed at cleanup; lead server untouched.

## Pixel comparison definition

All saved pixels included, no masks or alignment. Absolute RGB channel difference; changed pixel if max channel delta > 0 or > 8 (8-bit scale 0–255). Amplified image is min(abs(delta)×8,255), with zero threshold. Threshold8 mask is white if max channel delta >8. No similarity pass threshold is claimed: expected timeline movement dominates. Exact counts are in pixel-diffs.json.
