Fixture: local develop branch with empty initial commit; clone --bare into myproj/.bare; myproj/.git contains gitdir: ./.bare; sibling worktrees develop and feature-x.
Literal clone --bare sets core.bare=true: parent rev-parse outputs false then fatal: this operation must be run in a work tree. Web Add project accepts parent as non-Git, offers Initialize Git.
Variant: set core.bare=false to match actual configuration in report. Web dev server Add project accepts parent; draft current checkout develop, Changes +901 -0 including Git metadata and sibling worktrees. No provider turn started.
