# Proof audit PASS 2

No blocking proof or correctness finding for the reviewed local final revision. **VERDICT: SUFFICIENT** for unchanged visual behavior and fast-path acceptance, with the limits below. This is not a CPU, frame-time, allocation, RSS, or GC benchmark, nor approval of a later integration commit.

Reviewed [#24120](https://git.cafe/pingdotgg/t3code/issues/24120) and existing [#24121](https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/pull/24121), local [2e536497b1](https://git.cafe/pingdotgg/t3code/commit/2e536497b1e4c8a8027a7eebb31ccb4fea9afa6e) against [27e0c684c5](https://git.cafe/pingdotgg/t3code/commit/27e0c684c5). Cafe still reports contributor Batuhan1999/t3code, branch perf/timeline-streaming-work-fast-path, head [81cf33b](https://git.cafe/pingdotgg/t3code/commit/81cf33bfb083e43deacbe8bbfcc53033950be782). The forge head and old bot review are not the audited final code. Cafe issue comments: zero; PR comments: two, both read completely; reviews: zero. Macroscope lacks a correctness verdict and asks for human approval; CodeRabbit reports no actionable issue on the old head and flags the then-untriaged scope. No public response was posted.

## Findings and qualifications

- No unexpected baseline/fix visual change found in accepted evidence. Old P2 includes near-empty collapse transitions and remains superseded. Correction P2 visibly scrolls to the heading before collapse; the driver explicitly performs that step. It moves FIND-NEEDLE from step 20 to step 11 and uses a fixture search result. It proves real client reveal behavior, not backend search or arbitrary-scroll collapse behavior.
- Corrected evidence uses the full React app with injected in-memory projection/query state. It does not establish backend/provider replay. The separate real Codex trace supplies organic plan acceptance. Native mobile and Electron shell were not exercised; desktop renderer shares these exact web modules. Contracts, adapters, transports, settings, palette, keybindings, MCP and scheduler add no changed path here.
- Capture revision attribution comes from the supplied provenance, manifests, source probe patch and final-code oracle. Pixels themselves do not encode a commit SHA. I independently reproduced a final-code row exactly, below. No claim about post-audit main integration is made.

## Reconciled row table

All visual rows cover before/after CSS 1440×900 and 390×844 in light and dark. Chrome 154 Linux, DPR 2, root font 16px. Wide videos are 2880×1800; still transport is 1280×800. Narrow videos/stills are 780×1688. Fonts settled; CSS animation/transition/caret disabled; OS reduced-motion was not emulated. Fixture clock is 2026-10-24T10:01:00Z. Same driver and generated sequence are used on both revisions; manifests confirm successful actions. Recorder cadence/padding differs, so chapter times below are driver-relative, not frame-accurate media timestamps.

## Recording links

Representative timestamped chapters across every accepted recording were visually inspected, including long settled tails. Contact-sheet padding is not an application blank. No stale find overlay, ghosted settled text, missing render, or new clipping difference found. Plan preview fading, truncated work summaries, and composer overlay at the bottom of scrolled long content are present on both sides; those are existing presentations. No claim of all-frame inspection by this auditor: the capturer's separate all-frame sheets remain supporting evidence.

## Still and difference audit

Looked at every delivered before/after settled PNG and raw-zero, amplified16 and threshold8 difference PNG, using labeled sheets and full-size examples. Independently recomputed all 16 pair comparisons across the two packages and all 32 within-side stability pairs: identical RGB pixels throughout. The accepted distinct families are original reasoning plus corrected collapsed plan/revealed plan; original plan stills also remain identical but old P2 interaction proof is superseded. Zero threshold means any nonzero RGB channel; threshold8 means any channel >8; amplification is 16×. Capturer metrics also report maxChannelDelta=0. No settled ghosting, unexpected clipping, blank/unrendered content or stale overlay found.

## Independent R3 rebuild

Started my own retained dev session at final revision with `vp run dev --no-seed`, server 15499/web 7459, task-local test .t3. Paired my own native preview tab, hydrated the existing test thread, evaluated the delivered original driver.js and settled-state.js with captureState=reasoning, CSS1440×900/light, DPR2/16px. No DOM replacement, component harness, source patch or live database migration. Rebuilt screenshot is 1280×800 transport output and matches delivered after-1440-light-reasoning-1.png exactly: changedPixels=0, maxChannelDelta=0, empty diff bounding box. First exploratory screenshot differed by 307 hover-control pixels; moving the pointer to (5,5) removed them without changing source, fixture or layout.

Separately reran the delivered module-copy oracle in that real app: all 17 steps have entry/row full-derivation parity. Three expanded updates each replace only fixture-reasoning and raw live-activity-row / work-group:fixture-tool:details; sharedGroupedArray=true. This oracle intentionally invokes full derivation after recording counts and is not live-hook instrumentation. No need to repeat D1 live instrumentation.

## Final-code reconciliation and D2 limits

The pass1 matrix was based on an earlier implementation. Final samePlanStatuses ignores artifact markdown but compares ordered id/kind/status and array length; full entry derivation reads item markdown and only artifact kind/status through the plan lookup. Thus changing artifact markdown is safe to ignore, while status must invalidate. The focused regression changes markdown and status together and verifies superseded output. Expanded-live, superseded-by-running-tool and settled-group tests compare against full derivation; the separate oracle checks the shared raw array. There is no added render path requiring a new capture family.

The existing guards for other input context remain in force. They need not each gain a duplicate test for each newly admitted item type. Not independently demonstrated as separate focused cases: plan artifact id/kind changes, every title/attempt/source/position/createdAt/type permutation for both new item types, simultaneous multiple eligible updates, and every anchored/node/context/expanded-set combination. These remain untested combinations, not claimed coverage. I found no concrete missing behavioral risk requiring another test before this proof can be accepted. The supplied independent round2 MERGE verdicts support the source assessment but were not re-run or treated as a substitute for this audit.

No CPU/latency/memory number follows from these counters. The implementation still scans/maps arrays; it is not O(1). Node-changing flushes may legitimately rebuild; the organic plan trace demonstrates acceptance for its actual observed stream, not all provider sequences.

## FRICTION

- Native preview initially closed; opened an owned tab. Navigating to a token hash on an already-mounted pairing route did not auto-submit; used the pairing form. Initial lazy hydration took time, then the real thread hydrated normally.
- Initial rebuild screenshot included hover controls; normalized pointer and obtained exact parity. No source workaround.
- Python URL fetch returned HTTP403; curl with a browser User-Agent succeeded. Uploaded correction index exactly matches the local delivered index; all 120 entries in its artifact manifest match SHA256. Local complete evidence and all delivered accepted visual families were inspected.
- Stopped my retained dev session (exit130) and closed my tab before returning. Both own ports are no longer listening. No source changes, commits, pushes or public comments; task checkout remains clean at final revision; unrelated root staged work was never touched. Lead/capturer state and artifacts retained.
