# Reproduction: issue 24934

Base: e3592efe7f. Environment: fs-31 Linux, real web dev server, Chromium through T3 Browser panel, isolated worktree .t3 state. Initial viewport 1280x800, light theme.

1. Enable Settings > Beta > Working section.
2. Submit a prompt asking Codex to run `sleep 120` once and not edit files.
3. Expand Working and right-click Run Reproduction Fixture.
4. Observe Mark unread in the menu while the thread is working.
5. Click Mark unread. The menu closes; the thread stays in Working without an unread indicator.
6. Wait for the real provider turn to complete. It completes normally and returns to the inbox.

After 3027afd797: submit the same prompt and open the active thread menu. Mark unread is absent, while other menu entries remain.

Focused regression: the menu-item assertion failed on the base and passed after the fix. Bulk active-only and mixed eligibility tests were also added before the bulk fix.
