# Final-head evidence addendum: PR 19738

PASS: same-setup fresh-home rebuild/replay on exact current base and final merge head, including controls and restart. No semantic delta from the prior reviewed capture.

- Base: all three threads remain unsettled after four logical days and after restart; zero committed settlements.
- Final head: only retention-off known-open persisted-link thread settles. Its link remains open and settledAt equals its original activity/creation anchor. Retention-on and null-snapshot controls stay unsettled through completed sweeps and restart. Exactly one committed server:auto-settle event; no message/run/provider activity.
- Each variant passed 12 projection assertions. Same dev runner, pack config, forge/clock preload and driver on both refs. Rebuilt runtime includes current main's Orchestrator/ProjectionStore/dev-runner. Base/head differ only in settlement source and its excluded test, verified by git diff; external read-only bundler hook pins that source to each exact ref without tracked writes.
- Settlement implementation and tests remain byte-identical to reviewed [9da6ba5f1f](https://github.com/pingdotgg/t3code/commit/9da6ba5f1fe6d66ecc4e734d38276451f0b9ab78). Runtime semantic delta from that capture: none. The intended base-to-head regression fix is reproduced again.
- Explicit fresh isolated `/tmp/ev-19738` home, --no-seed and T3CODE_DEV_SEED=0. No live userdata accesses, browser, tracked edits, commits, pushes, comments or watches. All 20 observed owned server-group PIDs exited; fixture port closed. Branch head unchanged and worktree clean at completion.

Parent runs scoped tests independently; no suite growth or new review round here.

FRICTION: stale replay refs and temporary tracked-source replacement were removed; external build-helper module resolution needed two pre-server retries. Existing logical-clock and GraphQL fixtures remain necessary. Python audit download hit HTTP 403; curl succeeded. Discovery/telemetry requests were blocked. No product failure or unresolved runtime assertion. Full details in transcript.

Replay: download the companion scripts below to the named paths under `/tmp/ev-19738`, `chmod +x bin/gh`, then run `python3 /tmp/ev-19738/replay.py base` and `python3 /tmp/ev-19738/replay.py head` from `/home/ubuntu/wt/pr-19738` at the pinned final head. Updated `replay.py` requires `build-final.mjs`; the build helper derives all normal pack options from the checkout config and outputs only to scratch. Prior fixture data is archived locally; private auth is generated locally and never uploaded.
