## Evidence
**Attention:** R1 backgrounds a streamed person’s click at head, so this evidence does not establish preservation of every human-input path. S4 also changes a visible URL/content mismatch in the labelled delayed-result harness. These are called out here because they extend beyond a simple local agent-focus demonstration.
Captured **10/10 retained matrix rows**, **19 desktop revision/fixture recordings**, **13 separate destination-inspection recordings**, and **2 synchronized R1 viewer recordings**. H2 is head-only as specified. No retained row is unverified.

**Environment:** fs-08 Linux x86_64, Electron 44.10.0 / Chromium 152.0.7977.169 under headless-desktop/Xvfb, --no-sandbox --disable-gpu, ImageMagick import; whole app 1440×1000 CSS/PNG, DPR1, zoom/font scale 100% (16px root), no device emulation, dark. Main videos 1920×1080 include the entire app plus timing/focus sidebar. R1 second web client: Chromium tool browser, 1440×1000 CSS, DPR2, 100% font scale/no emulation; native recordings 2880×2000, tool stills downsampled to 1280×889. Current matrix explicitly excludes mandatory 390-wide/light duplicates for this service-only desktop change. Linux evidence does not verify macOS/Windows activation.
Synthetic project + threads A/B; deterministic provider fixture holds a real MCP scope without implementing preview behavior. Both drafts reset/prime per row. Renderer display clock fixed at 2026-11-03T12:55:00Z; Electron main heuristic clock remains live. Motion suppressed with CSS and reduced-motion emulation, fonts awaited, navigation settled, caret hidden; each published full-app final still is AE=0 against a second ImageMagick capture 500 ms apart. Stable Working/Thinking labels belong to the intentionally live scope fixture. Final viewer stills also pass AE=0 across consecutive captures.
**Diffs:** Diff0 = signed-int32 absolute RGB difference ×255, clipped to 255; a one-level change is visible. DiffT = magenta where max-channel difference >16/255 over dim After. All row sheets, final captures, diffs, and recording contact sheets were inspected. Stills supplement the recordings; they do not replace interactions.
**What else changed:**
- A1: selected browser tab/content/URL, URL-field focus/typed text versus composer suffix; the source’s agent-pointer indicator remains visible at head.
- A2: baseline suffix typing activates Terminal 1 instead of remaining in B/Files/composer; head preserves Files and the suffix. B remains selected.
- S1: Files versus destination panel content/toolbar and composer-versus-URL suffix.
- S2: Browser opens/reflows chat on main; head preserves closed panel, wide chat, existing thread-details placement, and suffix.
- S4 harness: visible sibling URL/content consistency improves at head; tab widths/scroll affordances reflect the chosen active destination/sibling.
- R1: streamed person input also receives the new background classification on desktop; host selection/content/focus differs. The controlling viewer’s source surface and URL remain unchanged on both revisions, despite snapshot activeTabId naming destination. Its final pixels match exactly.
- H1 and T1: nine low-level toolbar-icon pixels differ, none >16/255. B1: zero differing final pixels. H2 has no baseline pair. No other visible differences were found in the retained full-app comparisons.
**Unverified:** none among A1, A2, S1, S2, H1, H2, B1, T1, S4, R1. Matrix A3/S3 are explicitly collapsed; U1/D1 are code-covered and require no capture.

The real web viewer clicks person-target through its streamed canvas. Both native handlers see foreground-tab with focusedFrame=false. Before sends background=false and foregrounds person-target on desktop; After sends background=true and retains desktop Focus source/composer. Observed native input ages are 4.23 ms Before / 10.90 ms After. The viewer keeps the source surface/URL/content on BOTH revisions while its shared snapshot activeTabId names the destination: a baseline viewer limitation, not a newly demonstrated viewer regression. Its final auxiliary screenshots are pixel-identical at zero threshold.
